Biodiesel Bulk Supply, Distribution and Mobile Fueling

Biodiesel is currently brought to the region on rail car from out of state. Pacific Functional Fluids and Pacific NW Energy provide biodiesel to the region from out-of-state producers and suppliers. The fuel is stored at their facilities in Tacoma. You may be able to purchase biodiesel directly from these suppliers, in large quantities or in some cases in totes or barrels, but most of the fuel is distributed by the distribution companies noted below.

The biodiesel is being distributed locally by several companies capable of supplying bulk biodiesel to fleets or fuel stations throughout Washington State. Most distributors in the region are able to supply biodiesel. Following is a list of distributors known to currently provide biodiesel in bulk or through mobile fleet fueling.

Washington State provides tax incentives to encourage the development of in-state production facilities, distribution services and retail sales facilities for biodiesel fuel.
